Digging Up Worms

Commissioned by poet Eden Nobile, currently enrolled as a fellow at Saint Mary's College of California. The collage served as the front cover for Nobile’s undergraduate thesis project—a book of poetry about youth, memory, and terrestrial annelids. The poet has described the work as “an ecological coming-of-age story.”

Collage incorporates stills from Old Joy by Kelly Reichardt and a diagram of the common earthworm.
